Amelia & Myla | Sendall Gardens Mini Session

Gary and I met Mike and Viva about 8 years ago when we started going to the same care group at church.  I love having them as friends because Mike is hilarious and Viva's heart is huge (and she's an amazing massage therapist!).  Their youngest daughter, Myla, just turned two last week and so we had a mini session to capture some photos of the two sisters together.  Beautiful girls.  Enjoy.
Happy 2nd birthday Myla!  I love that you and my Nya are buddies!
Love, Louise

Nya Turns Two

Our little girl is two years old today.  We are so incredibly thankful for all that she has brought into our lives.  She brings us joy with her cuddles, cheerful observations, and ever present smile.  She is confident and brave and very much in love with Dora.   She loves a pretty dress and fun shoes.  Her sweet singing voice melts me every time.  She makes me giggle when I hear her in the monitor saying `I see you mommy!' or singing `Happy birthday'.  So thankful for this beautiful gift.

Love you Miss Nya!
Love, Mommy, Daddy, Kai and Koen.

Sendall Gardens Extended Family Session

I met up with this extended family right after the littlest member, Elias, age 11 weeks, was dedicated at church. The other grandson, Cameron, kept us busy! Here they are enjoying some family time at Sendall Gardens...

A Mother's Day Session | Sendall Gardens Family Photos

Kim contacted me a while back about booking a family session for her mom. What a great Mother's Day gift! We did Kim & Tyler's wedding back last May (hey, happy anniversary you two!) so it was fun to get together with her family again. If you know anything about the weather down here in the Lower Mainland, it has been all over the place. Fortunately it was really good last weekend when we met at Sendall Gardens. Enjoy!
{I love all three family photo combinations above:)}
{Did you notice the heart on the tree?}

{I love tulips. There aren't many flowers out yet but there are tulips everywhere!}
{I think we got every single possibly combination that you can get with six adults. Mom with each kid, dad with each kid, each kid with each kid etc. Don't worry, I won't show you them all:)}

{My favourite sequence of photos is probably with Kyle and Kirk. Kirk (above) had a hard time not smiling:)}

{You are one good looking family! Love that shot above.}

{Thank you for having me take your family photos, you all did such a great job:) I hope you all have a fabulous Mother's Day!}

Lisa and Tim's Wedding Day

On a beautiful fall afternoon, Lisa and Tim celebrated their special day. They had their photos taken before the ceremony which is always a little more relaxing and it's nice to be able to capture that moment when they first see eachother. The fall leaves were absolutely amazing and the sky was super blue. You never would've known there was a huge rainstorm the night before. Whenever you photograph a wedding, you feel so connected to the couple. You are following them, the entire day, throughout one of the most important days of their lives. I was just so happy for these guys that they found eachother and we are wishing them a lifetime of happiness together! Here are some pictures from throughout the day....
